Starting February 15, 2024, travelers have even more reasons to choose the CBX terminal into Tijuana as the starting point for their international adventures. Hainan Airlines has inaugurated a new daily flight between Tijuana International Airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in Arizona. Operated on an Embraer 175 aircraft with a capacity for 78 passengers, this service offers a direct and convenient connection between two key destinations in North America. Similarly, Tijuana’s International Airport has expressed interest in resuming the Tijuana-Beijing route, allowing the expansion of this border city connectivity with the rest of the world.
In addition to providing greater accessibility for local residents and passengers from Southern California, the new international destinations bolster the connectivity fostered by CBX. This solidifies its position as a significant hub connecting Mexico and the United States, with China soon joining this network.
