  6. Proceed to checkout and pay online (cash is not accepted). The I-94 permit costs $6 USD and can be paid with PayPal, debit, or credit card. Payment is non-refundable.
  7. An electronic receipt will be generated once you have completed your I-94 payment. You can save it by downloading the file or taking a screenshot. We recommend doing both.
  8. Remember this is a provisional permit. Once you have applied for your I-94 permit, you must present yourself at a port of entry to cross into the United States within a period of no more than 7 days where U.S. immigration officials will determine whether or not they approve your I-94 permit. There are no refunds, if you do not present yourself at an official border crossing within the allotted your application will no longer be valid.
  9. To prepare for your trip through CBX, make sure you have your current documentation (Passport, B1/B2 visa) and electronic I-94 payment receipt with you. The CBP officer will check your I-94 permit in the system with the details of your passport or visa that you used at the time of application.
  10. Remember to also have proof of residence, employment and/or travel plans with you, as U.S. immigration officers may ask for them when you cross.
