What is CBX Assisted Pass?

The CBX Assisted Pass is a personalized service which assigns a CBX Ambassador to accompany a designated traveler throughout their CBX crossing. The CBX Ambassador can assist with luggage, documentation and any other questions the traveler may have. It is primarily intended for seniors traveling alone, mothers travelling with small children or any passenger who may require additional assistance.



The service includes:

  • CBX Ticket (single or round trip).
  • Preferred access at CBX E-gates.
  • Designated CBX Assisted Pass check-in counter.
  • Porter assistance. Up to 3 pieces of luggage with a total of 165 lbs per passenger.
  • Assistance with I-94 permit pre-payment and FMM form completion.
  • CBX Assisted Pass provides wheelchair service that originates in San Diego and ends at the Tijuana Airport Quick Drop Off area. Wheelchair Assistance beyond this point is provided by the Tijuana Airport porters.

How to acquire this service

You must purchase the CBX Assisted Pass from our website, App or on-site at our CBX counters.

The service is subject to availability and CBX reserves the right to refuse service.

  4. Cancellations. All sales are final. CBX Assisted Pass will not reimburse in the event traveler(s) are denied access by U.S. or Mexican government authorities.
