All passengers, with the exception of U.S. citizens and residents, traveling more than 25 miles (approx. 40 km) from the border or staying more than 30 days in the United States will be required to prepay and complete their provisional I-94 permit before crossing through CBX.
Our janitorial staff uses electrostatic disinfection sprayers and high-grade disinfectant cleaner throughout the terminal with an emphasis on high touch areas to protect travelers at CBX. Additionally, hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the CBX terminal, as well as in the Tijuana International Airport.

To enter the United States through CBX as a tourist with a B1/B2 visa you must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and present all the necessary documents to cross such as your valid passport and visa. Additionally, if you will travel more than 25 miles from the border or stay longer than 30 days an I-94 permit is required, you can prepay here. US Customs and Border Protection officials have full discretion as to who is admitted entry.
