Teleton Mexico, our country’s biggest foundation, is celebrating its 25th anniversary helping kids and teens with disabilities, cancer and autism. Donations have started for their main event this 2022, and CBX Hand In Hand is very excited to help out, for their third year in a row. During this month of November, donations have been collected at the time of a CBX ticket purchase to lend a hand to CRIT Baja California (Centro de Rehabilitación Infantil Teletón Baja California, a foundation beneficiary).
CRIT has been operating for 6 years in Baja California; currently helping 450 families every day and complying with nearly 47,000 therapies a year. 98% of their patients that are being taken care of are in this site are from Baja California, 1% are from other parts of the republic and the other 1% come from the U.S.
Teleton is hoping to build two more centers next year, one in Tlapa and another one in Sinaloa. If the goal is reached, this promise for many other kids and teens will come to life for 2023. We invite you to keep helping and together we can make these centers, and more, happen. Donations can be made through the CBX website, as well as in any San Diego or Tijuana counters when buying a ticket. Remember that if you reside in Mexico and donate in our CBX terminal, you can request your tax-deductible receipt before December 31, 2022.
